The parking area filled up early.	Twice as many vehicles as this are elsewhere on the property.	Members gather to discuss their plans.	Drywashers took samples in various spots.

MEMORIAL WEEKEND.

IT'S OFF TO THE PIUTE MOUNTAINS WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY 49'ERS

Seven GSSN members made the trip to the cool fresh mountain air at the 49'ers claim in Kern County, California.  There was water in the stream that runs thru the claim so we all did some sluicing. Friday and Saturday evening were "Pot Luck" supper with more food than you can eat. Everyone had a good time and look foreward to next year.

This is where he has to give it back. You didn't think he found it, did you?	Saturday was the detector hunt.
