2002 Starts out with a Rattlesnake Brad Nugget Hunt

About 70 people came for the Big Rattlesnake Brad Nugget Hunt. 35 people from GSSN and the Mohave Prospectors Association took part in the hunt. Prizes included planted nuggets, first and second place nuggets for points and other prizes.

Sign Up started early as participants were eager to get after the two dozen nuggets.

Vehicles lined the road.

V-P Fortin cooked and organized the pitch-in dinner.

The weather was good for a drive around the area.

The search area couldn't be covered in one photo.

Rich comes out ahead with the big prize.

This one wasn't planted. But, turned up in the hunt site, 23 inches deep. Two other nuggets also turned up in the hunt area.

No outing is complete with out story telling.
